Autism & ADHD Therapist in San Marcos, California
MEET LINDSEY
Do you ever feel alone, even when you're surrounded by people? Maybe you've spent years feeling different, misunderstood, or exhausted trying to meet expectations that don't fit how your brain works. For some, these experiences begin to make sense during pregnancy or after becoming a parent, especially when the increased demands of pregnancy, postpartum, or parenting highlight lifelong patterns that were previously overlooked. Others recognize their own neurodivergence after their child is diagnosed with autism or ADHD. Perhaps you've spent years masking, overthinking, or living in a constant state of burnout, wondering why everyday life feels more difficult than it seems for everyone else.
As a neuro-affirming therapist, I support clients by recognizing neurodiversity as a natural variation in human functioning rather than something to be fixed. I create a collaborative, accepting space where clients feel understood, validate their lived experiences, and adapt therapy to their unique communication, sensory, and executive functioning needs. Together, we explore strengths, challenges, masking, and self-advocacy while focusing on practical strategies that promote autonomy, well-being, and a meaningful life aligned with each client's values and goals.
You’re not broken…
I know what it’s like to feel unseen….
Since masking lives in the body, Brainspotting helps release stored stress when talking alone hasn’t been enough. We locate where the stress is held and allow your nervous system to process it without needing to explain or relive every detail. For those ready to go deeper, intensives provide focused space for lasting change beyond a weekly session.
It’s normal to feel hesitant about reaching out. You don’t need certainty or the right words. When you contact me, we’ll talk through what you’re looking for and see if it feels like a good fit, then schedule your appointment.
My Approach
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. My favorite modalities to use in therapy are Somatic Experience Therapy, Brainspotting, Person-Centered Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
As a neuro-affirming therapist, I understand that their isn’t a magic recipe that fits every client. I work collaboratively with each client to tailor treatment to their individual needs, recognizing that no single therapeutic model is the right fit for everyone.
My specialty is in supporting autistic and ADHD adults, parents raising “neuro-spicy” children, and individuals navigating the challenges of pregnancy, fertility, and the transition into motherhood. I understand that becoming a mother can be anxiety-provoking that may also bring unresolved trauma, past experiences, and new emotional challenges to the surface. If this resonates with you, you are not alone!
In session, my goal is to provide a nurturing, compassionate, and safe environment where clients can explore and process trauma related to neurodivergence, motherhood, identity, and major life transitions. My work emphasizes reducing masking, deepening self-understanding, and helping clients develop a more authentic relationship with themselves.

Our Services
Brainspotting Therapy
Brainspotting is a focused, brain-based therapy that helps process trauma, stress, and emotionally charged experiences that may be difficult to resolve through talk therapy alone. By accessing the brain's natural healing capacity, it can help reduce emotional distress, increase resilience, and support lasting healing.
ADHD and Autism Therapy
Therapy for ADHD and autism is tailored to your unique strengths, challenges, and goals. Together, we'll build practical strategies for emotional regulation, executive functioning, communication, relationships, and managing daily life—while honoring your individual neurodivergent experience in a supportive, affirming space.
Pregnancy and Postpartum Therapy
Pregnancy and the postpartum period bring significant emotional and life changes. Therapy provides a supportive space to navigate anxiety, depression, identity shifts, relationship changes, birth experiences, and the challenges of new parenthood while building resilience and confidence during this transition.
Outside of the Therapy Room
Outside of the therapy room, I am a mom, a wife, a sister, a daughter, a friend, and an advocate. My family is at the center of my life, and I cherish spending quality time with my husband and children. I also love to travel and explore new places, creating lasting memories along the way.
Being near the water is my happy place-whether it's relaxing at the beach or enjoying time by the pool. It is where I feel most refreshed and recharged. When I'm not with my family, I enjoy going for walks, practicing Pilates, and attending live theater. These activities help me stay balanced and bring joy to my everyday life.
